DOG TRAINING POLICY

Please give us a curtusy call

When for some reason you have booked for dog training and can not keep your appointment. We are more then happy to reschedule you.

On the leash

All dogs on arrival must be on a leash on arrival. Coastal Country is in a farm environment with life stock running free on entry of the property.

No parasites. please!

Make sure your dog is clean and parasite free on arrival. Your dog/s must be on flea control product prior to arrival. Any dog with fleas will be treated at the owners expense. A charge of will apply. A Preventic Collar will be supplied free of charge to all dogs on arrival.

Professional care

Your dog receives experienced care and supervision whilst staying with us.  If any medical problems arise your dog will receive immediate Veterinary care and you will be contacted asap.

Vaccination

A current C5 vaccination certificate must be shown on arrival. Dogs must be recently intestinal wormed and be on heart worm preventative.

Payment

We require all payments due to be made in full by either cheque or cash on when the owners collect their dogs.

 

TICKS

The Paralysis Tick and the Brown Dog Tick are the two most common ticks on dogs. However, it is the Paralysis Tick that is by far the most dangerous. It causes paralysis in a variety of forms but a ‘typical’ case starts with weakness of the hindquarters that progresses to total paralysis of all four legs.

FLEAS

A wingless, bloodsucking insect that causes itching, scratching, allergies, anaemia in cats and dogs.
